Bio Phil La Viola

Bio

Phil La Viola is founder and owner of Guitar 6 School of Music. He graduated and studied at the Humber College Jazz program in Toronto, Canada. He also studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Phil La Viola is an accomplished guitar player and has been playing for fifteen years. He also studied and played with some of the top musicians in Canada: Ted Quinlan, Reinhard Baldizon, Carlo Bartone and many more. He is also a member of the jazz trio Talking Midnight. He currently gigs on the Toronto music scene. As a professional musician and guitar instructor he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom in the areas of performance, improvisation and song writing. His unique style of teaching and approach toward the guitar has helped many students gain a better understanding of the instrument.
